Abstract
Solid-state quantum systems such as NV centers play an important role in fundamental and applied quantum physics due to their scalable and easy-to-manipulate properties. In this project, we will investigate novel quantum effects and physical mechanisms in the strong coupling of NV centers to quantized spin waves and skyrmions in magnetically ordered microstructures. At the single quantum level, we plan to study the quantum phenomena and processes during the strong interaction among NV centers, quantum magnons, and quantized skyrmions, overcoming the physical limit of the traditional magnetic coupling. We will also propose some new proposals and schemes based on this hybrid quantum system to generate non-reciprocal interactions between the magnon-mediated spin-skyrmion qubits. This research provides a theoretical basis for the fundamental and applied research in the field of quantum physics and quantum information based on the strong coupling system of diamond NV centers, magnons, and skyrmions.
