Abstract
The field of quantum computing has grown at a fairly unexpected pace in the past decades. Today, I will give an overview of two interesting approaches towards a scalable quantum computing platform. The current difficulty lies not only in controlling and operating qubits that make up a quantum computer, but also everything that goes into scaling it up – starting from microwave engineering through large scale cryogenics. I will discuss a potential novel approach for a modular cryogenic platform equipped with a fully scalable voltage-tunable qubits.
