Abstract
The Kondo effect highlights transport and magnetic characteristics of strongly correlated systems, while the electron waiting time distribution, indicating site occupancy probabilities over time, reveals fermionic interactions and information transfer. In this study, we investigate the Kondo resonance in the density of states as exhibited by the single impurity Anderson model within the Kondo regime, employing the hierarchical equations of motion approach. Concurrently, we introduced an additional lead, acting as a weakly-coupled detector to the system. Our findings indicate that the waiting time distribution distinctly reflects the Kondo correlation, particularly evident through the emergence of oscillations within the short-time regime. Such phenomena were further examined by analyzing the von Neumann entropy and the system's non-Markovianity, relative to the pronounced oscillations in the waiting time distribution at zero temperature. Moreover, under non-equilibrium conditions, these oscillation extents can also elucidate the split of the Kondo peak. These insights bridge the understanding between Kondo correlations and waiting time distributions.
