    Low-error, Scalable Quantum Computing with Fluxonium

講演概要
Quantum computers hold the promise for solving complex problems that are beyond the reach of classical supercomputers. However, their practical application is currently limited by high error rates and restricted scalability in quantum hardware. This challenge has driven the development of low-error, scalable qubit architectures.
One promising candidate is the fluxonium qubit, a type of superconducting qubit that offers intrinsic protection against environmental noise, resulting in longer qubit coherence times. Additionally, its unique energy level structure with large anharmonicity allows for fast and precise qubit control at scale, making fluxonium a promising building block for low-error, scalable quantum computers.
In this talk, I will provide an overview of ongoing research on building fluxonium-based superconducting processors. I will explain how fluxonium qubits can be controlled and measured with high fidelity and discuss potential pathways for scaling up this technology.
