    Toward more efficient fault-tolerant quantum computation

講演概要
Fault toletant quantum computation (FTQC) with quantum error-correcting codes utilizes reduntant qubits to protect quantum information during quantum computing. As a result, FTQC needs large resource overheads, which prevents us from building a fault-tolerant quantum computer. Thus, more efficient, namely, low-overhead approaches to FTQC have been highly desired. In this talk, I will discuss how we can try to tackle this challenging issue.
