講演概要
In this talk, I will provide an overview of my works, including quantum estimation, control and quantum computation. Quantum estimation and control are important techniques in quantum technology, enabling the estimation of parameters or systems beyond conventional limits and fascilitating enhanced control of quantum systems. My research has involved the estimation of two-mode quantum detector using detector tomography technique, where we evaluated the entangling capability of the detector. Also, we have explored the estimation of quantum states in an optical parametric oscillator using quantum state smoothing techniques. In this work, we have improved purity and squeezing of the state that were degraded by interaction with environment. In addition, we found the trade-off between the recoveries of purity and squeezing. Quantum computation is another significant area of focus in my work. Currently we are developing an optical quantum computer at RIKEN, which operates on continuous-variable measurement-based principles. This machine utilises four squeezers with a tailored interferometer to create a large-scale two-dimensional entanglement, with quantum operations implemented through measurements on these entangled states. I will explain the principle and provide an update on the current status of our optical quantum computer.
