Abstract
I will talk about the entanglement between initially independent critical states, which can be induced by the Bell-state measurements. We show that this problem can be analyzed by using a boundary conformal field theory (BCFT). We then discuss how this finding is closely related to nonstabilizerness (a.k.a quantum magic) of critical many-body states. We analytically predict the universal scaling of magic for the Ising class and numerically verified it by tensor network calculations.
