Abstract
A new major QuTiP version is on the horizon.
Notably, support for multiple backends in handling Qobj's data is now integrated, accommodating both sparse and dense formats.
This also adds the options to run simulations on both CPU and GPU capabilities.
Moreover, the inclusion of AI-oriented backends, such as jax, empowers QuTiP's solvers with auto-differentiation capabilities.
We also introduce a new class based interface to the quantum solvers, promoting reusability and user control.
The presentation will also present some other quality of life improvements such as an alternative parallel map, animated result visualization, and more.
