Fast, high-fidelity qubit readout has become one of the central challenges on the path to fault-tolerant superconducting quantum computers. As processors grow and quantum error correction moves from proof-of-principle to everyday practice, the speed, accuracy and scalability of measurement increasingly set the pace of progress.
The Superconducting Qubit Readout Workshop 2027 brings together researchers and groups advancing superconducting qubit readout for three days of focused scientific exchange. The program consists of invited talks complemented by contributed poster sessions open to all participants. The format is single track, with ample time for informal discussion.

Registration is open to researchers in the field. Talks are by invitation only and all registered participants are encouraged to submit an abstract for the contributed poster sessions. As space at the venue is limited, you will be notified of your participation and poster acceptance. Places may fill before the registration deadline, so early registration is encouraged.
RegisterRIKEN's Wako campus sits at the northern edge of Tokyo and is home to the RIKEN Center for Quantum Computing. The workshop takes place in the Headquarters Building (C00), on the 2nd floor. The campus is a 15-minute walk from Wakoshi Station, which is directly connected to central Tokyo.
The conference hotel is the Wakoshi Tobu Hotel, located directly at Wakoshi Station, a 15-minute walk from the RIKEN campus.
Accommodation at the Wakoshi Tobu Hotel is provided for invited speakers; rooms will be reserved on their behalf by the organizing committee. Travel support is also available for invited speakers.
All other participants are asked to arrange their own accommodation. Rooms at the Wakoshi Tobu Hotel and hotels in nearby Ikebukuro can be booked directly, and participants are encouraged to book early.
