    Giant Artificial Molecules in Waveguide QED

講演概要
Over the last decade, waveguide QED with giant emitters has opened new avenues for applications across quantum information, quantum computation, and quantum optics. In this talk, I will present a natural, yet nontrivial, extension of giant-atom physics to giant artificial molecules—systems of two or more strongly interacting atoms—coupled to a waveguide. I will show how the hybridization of the molecular eigenstates enables new opportunities for quantum science, including the engineering of logical decoherence-free qubits with superdense quantum encoding, chiral quantum optics and chirality discrimination protocols of artificial molecules.
