    Practical error learning for large-scale quantum computers

講演概要
I will give an overview of recent advances in error learning, in particular optimal estimation of two qubit gate error rates as well as learning cycle (layer) errors and fidelities across multi-qubit registers, accounting for correlations and cross-talk.  I will also discuss the fundamental role of randomized compiling for error suppression, error stabilization and performance prediction, and how to leverage cycle error diagnostics to robustly estimate global performance at scale for arbitrary quantum algorithms.
