Abstract
Simulating quantum computers on classical hardware is vital for developing quantum algorithms and hardware and advancing quantum technology. As quantum systems scale, classical simulation becomes increasingly demanding. This talk explores how GPUs, combined with NVIDIA’s cuQuantum SDK can accelerate these simulations.

We’ll give an overview of Nvidia's quantum simulation stack with a focus on cuDensityMat library for simulating the dynamics of open quantum systems. We will cover the basic concepts behind the library, how to use it, and show performance benchmarks. We'll also discuss its integration with QuTiP framework, making GPU acceleration accessible to the broader quantum simulation community.
