講演概要
Can quantum algorithms—rooted in the principles of superposition, interference, and entanglement—offer new ways to model and process signals and systems? At the core of quantum technologies, quantum signal processing (QSP) provides a unifying framework, spanning from signal generation in superconducting qubits to amplification and filtering in physical hardware. Concepts from classical signal processing also inspire the design of quantum algorithms, particularly in structured circuit topologies that support efficient computation and error mitigation.

In this talk, we will explore the emerging field of quantum signal processing with an emphasis on Hamiltonian simulation, a key protocol for modeling the time evolution of quantum systems. We will examine resource requirements in terms of gate complexity and discuss how structured quantum circuits can enhance algorithmic performance. Finally, we will highlight broad applications of these methods in areas such as chemistry and biology, where quantum approaches have the potential to advance our understanding of complex systems.
