Abstract
High-sensitivity thermometry plays a vital role in both fundamental research and practical applications. In this talk, I will present a novel, highly sensitive thermometry technique utilizing a fiber-based Fabry–Pérot (F-P) microcavity. By encapsulating the F-P microcavity with a temperature-sensitive material, the resonance frequency exhibits a pronounced shift with temperature variations. This design offers exceptional sensitivity along with key practical advantages, such as low fabrication cost, compact size, and seamless integration into optical systems. This work provides a new methodology for precision measurement and integrated high-performance optical sensor systems.
