    High-Dimensional Quantum Information Processing using Orbital Angular Momentum of Light.

Abstract
High-dimensional quantum information processing has attracted significant attention due to its distinct advantages, including (a) enhanced noise robustness, (b) increased information capacity, (c) stronger violations of Bell inequalities, and (d) reduced physical resource requirements for quantum algorithms. The orbital angular momentum (OAM) of light serves as an ideal platform for high-dimensional photonic quantum information processing. However, key challenges remain, such as the on-chip generation and manipulation of chiral photons, as well as the implementation of deterministic, high-fidelity, and scalable quantum gates.
In this seminar, we present three recent advances: (1) A scalable design for high-dimensional single-qudit cyclic gate, (2) On-chip generation of chiral OAM photons, and (3) High-dimensional Hong-Ou-Mandel (HOM) interference of OAM photons within integrated photonic circuits.
